if you got sv_downloadurl and you want to had a new map you have to use ftp.
But what if this plugin would check hosting for map presence and if not connect hosting has a phony player and make the file upload to the hosting.
So no more waste of time uploading maps to hosts.

i think i get waht he is trying to say

if sv_downloadurl site does not have the map for fast dl then get bot to automatically upload request map file onto site so you can fast dl.

first off something like this is kinda messed up

second of all if the person were to go for fast dl and the server does not have it the user will exit and by the time the bot has uploaded to your site, your sv_downloadurl will be useless because everyone will have been redirected to download from the server because the sv_downloadurl site has reported that it either A.does not have the map or B.has partial which returns the error of redirect to server.

that doesn't matter at the first time. If it doesn't have the map make everyone download it. No problem. It's only one time anyway. Now if there's no code that can manage it that's a diferent story.

No problem if you might need a php and a php script or an ini file I just wanna know if it's possible. or via motd.

Or even better an external program that check what's the map is on the server and uploads it similar to an automatic ftp. I know this one can be made! This would be so damm cool!

So your saying... We have a dedicated server (Lets name it LocalHost) and a FTP server (Lets name that FTPHost)
LocalHost has map hf_coolmap
FTPHost does not.
Player connects to LocalHost, LocalHost finds out that FTPHost doesn't have the map, sends map to FTPHost so when another player connects to LocalHost, the sv_url links to FTPHost with the map, allowing for a faster download?
Thats actually a good optimization.
I personally think it can be done, just most likely not with PAWN. Maybe have php help out on the side like you said, but hey there are better languages then php to do this sort of thing.

I think this is impossible. It's clever, though.
