So, upgraded in-place from SourceBans++ 1.6.4 to 1.7.0 successfully (with required upgrade to PHP 8.1+).

However, I had the previous setup configured to only allow admins to login to the web-panel using Steam authentication. Which now seems broken after the upgrade.

Anybody know how to fix that? re-enable the default non-Steam login and fix the Steam-based authentication for the web-panel?

PS: Rolled-back web-panel to 1.6.4 (I saved a backup copy of the entire folder), and set Apache PHP back to 7.x; and everything works as before.

Got the same error doing a fresh install on windows php/IIS.

I solved it by created a folder in sourcebans called "templates_c" and giving the server user write permission to it.

Hope this helps you, or someone else who stumbles on this page.
