I used the exact same cycle from my hale ff2 servers, so I know the maps are good, also ctf_doublecross which is an official map.

I noticed it only crashes when there is 3 or more players.

Hmm, I almost hate to ask this, but for the people who are crashing... can we get the output of
version
meta version
meta list
sm version
sm exts list
sm plugins list
and which OS your server is running?

Anyway, the only things I can think of that could crash the server would be a problem with one of the extensions/plugins it requires (including bad gamedata) or something going on with env_explosion that the server itself doesn't like. Although I'm not sure why the latter would only affect some people.

Edit: I just want version to know if you installed yesterday's optional update, as it has major gamedata implications.

Hmm, the only things I see out of place is that you're running 1.4 and 1.5 stock SourceMod plugins with SourceMod 1.6.

I don't think TF2Items Manager would cause conflicts with this plugin, since this plugin changes weapons after a player is given a new inventory. Besides which, that wouldn't cause issues on map changes.

Is anyone else who is getting crashes using SourceMod 1.6? I'm wondering if it's something that changed between 1.5 and 1.6 that's causing the issue... 1.6 is the main working branch for DOTA2 and other games should probably be using 1.5.

It couldn't hurt, but no guarantees that it'll actually fix the problem.

Also, are replays enabled on your server?

Edit: It may also be worth trying sv_pure -1 or the prerelease update to the game server.

Edit 2: The prerelease thing will be part of an update today if no one has any issues with it by then.

alright, i went to the latest 1.5

I dont understand the new pure system though. What is -1?

-1 is like forcing sv_consistency 0 as well.

The thing is, I'm not sure if sv_pure 0 is affected by the sv_pure texture bug that Valve recently encountered... it still loads the sv_pure_minumum.txt pure rules with 0. Oh well, the sv_pure bug ("Bugs with sv_pure, especially after second map change") is supposed to be pushed to TF2 today if there weren't any issues with it.

Incidentally, people running Freak Fortress 2 are also seeing random crashes like the one you mentioned. I'm not sure if people running VSH are having the same issue as well.

My ff2 server is crashing alot. I actually shut it down.

my VSH is fine.

Optional TF2 update just got pushed. Might want to try it and see if it fixes the crashing issue.

Edit: KyleS is saying that this update needs new GameData... BLEAH.
