@Popoklopsi,
Correction: It seems that the reason for messagebot extensions not loading was not because of the Sourcemod version. I tried the windows binary and it worked. It seems that only the linux binary isn't working. Same error as this.

@brlight, First of all, that's not true. Second, re-read my post

@brlight
The whole system is based around a reporter, someone to report and one or more admins which should then be notified asap when said reporter reports someone. We currently have no plans to change that.
If CallAdmin would be a generic messaging plugin this could easily be done, but it isn't. For the time being, this might be a better fit for what you want.
If you want useful, well thought out and reproducible bug reports, you're better off with suggesting to report in, for example, your forum instead of letting them write one in-game.

This is weird.
I'm using the 1.6 branch of github (https://github.com/alliedmodders/sourcemod/tree/1.6-dev).
The Version 8 was added on 8 Aug. 2014:
https://github.com/alliedmodders/sou...sionSys.h#L140

So it definitely should work on 1.7. I don't know on which 1.6.X version it was added.
But why don't you just update to 1.7?

Although bongotrommler is using a 1.7.0 snapshot, the version he's using is from 3 Aug and thus older than 1.6.3. That probably be reason it's failing to load for him.
I don't know the exact version kNowo is using.

Doesn't matter what version of sourcemod. The problem is with messagebot linux binary. I can't load it on 1.6 and bongotrommler can't load it on 1.7 either. Do you have a linux machine to test it?

Please don't full quote.
Like i said, Bongotrommlers version is older than the 1.6.3 release the extension is compiled against. Can you post the exact sourcemod version you're using?

What is up with you? "Please don't full quote"? Anything wrong with "full quote"? Like I said, it doesn't matter the sourcemod version you're using. The problem is with messagebot.ext.so file. Can you do the one thing I ask and load it on a linux server and see if it work?

Of course it's your Sourcemod version. The extension is compiled against a newer Sourcmod version as yours.

I wasn't being rude towards Impact123, just shocked at the fact that it bothered him.

Anyways, here's the version of Sourcemod I'm using on my linux server:

Code:
 SourceMod Version Information:
    SourceMod Version: 1.6.4-dev+4621
    SourcePawn Engine: SourcePawn 1.2, jit-x86 (build 1.6.4-dev+4621)

    Built from: https://github.com/alliedmodders/sourcemod/commit/52af5ec
