hi folks,

I just installed umc on my cs go server and ran into a problem: I can't get anything to happen with umc, no voting, no rtv, mapcycles whatever. it looks as if the plugin wasn't there. I copied everything from the first post (and tried the git repository too) to the server, created some map groups and restarted. I even removed the nextmap plugin (besides the old mapchooser), still no effect

I'm probably missing something very simple but right now I'm out of ideas. can anybody help me out?
it's supposed to work together with the workshop, right?

Try "sm plugins list" in your console.

@Steell Will we see a stable release with support for NativeVotes?

I am slowly making progress on the handle cloning issue which I believe is the source of the crashing problems some people have been reporting. That will be the next stable release, and unfortunately I do not have an ETA.

It's outdated. If you want UMC for CS:GO, you need 3.4.6 version.

Also, sm plugins list needs rcon to show all running plugins.

What handle cloning issue are you talking about? I'm using UMC and NativeVotes, and since version 0.7.4 it's been pretty stable for me

Since I released UMC3, some people have been complaining that the plugin has caused "server hangs" during a map change. These were for a while unexplained and impossible to reproduce; they seemed, for the most part, non-deterministic. Recently, it came to my attention that a probably cause is that UMC shares data between its modules, something which SM is supposed to support but apparently is very buggy.

If you're not experiencing crashes, you're one of the lucky ones (or rather, not one of the unlucky ones).

I haven't looked that closely at the code, but why clone the handles? Do you expect different parts of UMC to close the handles?
