Huh seems i ran into an issue, i ported the Web Stats into smf.

The way that works is using the index.php to load a template of the index to be used in the forum.
Problem is when i do this it removes the 'method' from the Web Stats, meaning it doesn't show how the item was received. But when i change it back by simply replacing the index it shows up. Would anyone know why it would be doing this?

Anyone can take a guess why?
It shows everything else besides the method that it was found, any help would be appreciated!

my only guess would be the images are not available thru the forum images directory if you are trying to integrate it into a forum. I wouldn't fool with this as the stand alone way it was from default worked fine just link it back to the page, there is prob no way to do what you are trying to do and make it work 100%.

On a side note I'm curious if there can be a way to have the items game data updated automatically when an update is released as they seem to be weekly now which takes a little bit of time if you have more than 10 servers.

the item logger logs to my database, but the webplugin shows nothing. i set the database info in the config.php, is there anything else im missing?

    items.brewskii.com

edit: never mind, i didnt realize you had to call out update.php directly i thought index.php detected the file and auto-ran it. my bad.

now i get this error when running update.php

    Code:
You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1

alright i have literally tried everything to get this to work.

    i tried different api keys
    different databases
    empty databases
    different directories
databases with data in them from the server
hard coding my api key to the update.php

i just cant seem to get past the above error, it seems like its been a while since anyone has really used/updated this plugin, does it still work?

Works for me just fine, in fact I run this on 10 different servers. I'd start over if I were you and start from scratch cause you likely did something wrong or missed something.

thank you for confirming the plugin does work.

i got it to work by installing the web panel to a secondary webserver, and reading the database from the first webserver.

while i have no idea why this works...it makes no sense to me, it did work.

Sounds like you didn't configure your SQL settings correctly the first time.
