Hi here,
have successfully compiled the plugin ....
seem to work so far...

also the menu works,
although I can't get any status on my screen ,
so i really don't know if it 's active ...

Also there is no bot joining my IRC channel ..... what did it do now ?

These are the online lines in the .sma file i need to edit, right ?

LAST LINE: do i need a "#" before the channel name ?

I set it all up in my amxx.cfg with all the cvars, and I've tried the ones that are numbers as numbers and again with everything as strings, your code is unreadable, it crashed out before and wouldn't do anything though the server didn't crash saying:

[AMXX] Run time error 4 (index out of bounds) (plugin "irc.amxx") - debug not enabled.

I turn on debug mode and nothing happens at all now except that the server doesn't crash but I can't stay connected, my connection freezes and when I quit and go to HLSW I'm still connected...

The bot never joins the server, all I get when I activate the menu commands is

'Option 0 chose, connect to irc' and what not crap showing up on the screen, and it doesn't actually DO anything, that and the menu seems to be the only way to activate commands, apparently I can't run the connect command manually, nor get any console feedback, either as the admin or in hlsw, and now it's stopped logging and doesn't show debug info or anything!

it also continues to show as running even after a runtime error...that makes no sense, is there a guide on how to configure this, am I doing something wrong? Why will it not connect at all, why does it give NO feedback?!

Hi there! I have configured my server like this ::
I have added 2 lines into the following file ::

amxmodx/configs/plugins.ini

irc.amxx
menu.amxx

I have copied the 2 .amxx file into the pulugins/ dir.

I have edited my server.cfg ::

irc_server irc.quakenet.org
irc_port 6667
irc_nick ^Deathmatch
irc_channel #deathmatch.hu
irc_identify 0
irc_ident hurka
irc_msg_srvjoin on
irc_msg_srvpart on
irc_msg_srvsay on
irc_msg_srvteamsay on
irc_msg_ircsay on

In my amxmodx/configs/modules.ini I've removed the ";" for the line ::

sockets_amxx_i386.so

Then I was shut down my server, and restart...
And in the SSH appears a messages ::

[IRC] Disconnected, trying to reconnect
[IRC] Disconnected, trying to reconnect
[IRC] Disconnected, trying to reconnect
[IRC] Disconnected, trying to reconnect
[IRC] Disconnected, trying to reconnect
etc.

Funny thing is theres no one keeping up with this plugin .. it needs a New Mantainer ... the code is Awsome ..just need to check it over with the new AMXX ver ..

The IRC <-> HLDS plugin works, it is on QNet, but it want join to our channel. If I give a "irc join" command this message will apear in SSH ::

it gives me the same error but no one is working on this plugin ... so how is any one suspost to fix it .. the plugins maker is no longer working on this plugin ... i'm tryin to find some one who's intrested but having no LUCK ..

Yeah, it crashes my server, so i ended up just using hlsw.
