playername, ip, country etc will not work as the player has not actually connected yet.

Only colors will work in custom join messages.

It started and then after 2-5 seconds server crash

is there a way to make it play a sound to all users when anyone connects? I have tested sm_playsnd "ui/buttonclickrelease.wav" and it works just fine but I want it to play to all users when anyone joins.

How about adding EmitSoundToAll(ui/buttonclickrelease.wav) after the PrintToChatAll?


EDIT: Or since he uses one function for all printing purposes, rather put it under OnClientConnect

EDIT #2: Or wait for someone else to answer since i dont know what im talking about ;)

an inportant question for me: if we play in lan mode (with not real ip), how can i find out the country information ? Steam gets wrong info (everybody the same). How can i make announcer to "look" at the real internet ip ?

ive just done this now, ive got a few more bits and peices to add before release.

This doesnt make sense. If your on a LAN then you are all in the same area, if you using Hamachi or something like that, then, why?
If the IP being used to connect isnt the players real ISP assigned IP then how can it look it up?

Hamachi is an example, other example is garena. I've seen it working on a server, i don't know how to make it work on mine.
