Well it's not really a problem for me any longer since I now have it working.

But when it wasn't working it didn't recognise the command, yet any other sm commands worked fine and metamod and sourcemod said they were installed as well as the admin plugin.

At the time it was happening I didn't realise it logged stuff, I have checked over the logs and the only thing I can find that might be around the time it was happening was [admin-flatfile.smx] (line 0) Stream failed to open.

Yea, that means it couldn't find your admin.cfg or it was formatted improperly. If you have it working now then, nevermind.

I will be setting up a clean install later in the week, if I have the same problem I will post again.
