Anyway the purpose wouldn't be to help. Unless it were to avoid creating threads like "Anyone know if this plugin exists?" , "What is the flag for admin verylights?", "Where I can learn to make plugins?". The shoutbox would be suitable and more suitable than threads to that kind of questions

Probably the thing that is making me say no is that there is normally no way to moderate them, so the spam bots and our little porn posting friend can post on it all they want

BAILOPAN most likely will not let me but, if the ShoutBox is implemented I could easily code something into the system to a add moderator "delete text" option.

I've done it before on my old forums, which were ran by vBulletin.

It took approximately 30 lines of code, not hard at all.
