well, there's only one thing in it what could cause that, but i haven't
used the old won system since only steam was left officially,
so i'm not 100%ly sure about it.

as far as i remember, on won players already have their wonid when they connect to the server
and aren't authorized while connecting, so open the
plugin source (adminreservation.sma) and change
Code:
public client_authorized(id){
to
Code:
public client_connect(id){
then save and compile the fikle and throw the plugin
on your server and try it.

if that won't fix it, i can't help you as i can't support a dead system.

anyways, good luck

NOTE:
MAX Mod X 1.0 doesn't support WON at all, use AMXX 0.16 WON version!

Hi,

Great plugin but I would also like the way madprofessor wants it to work.
Reason... well I dont want people being kicked to make way for admins, our admins are use to waiting and if there is an admin already on the server then they dont need the reserved slot and can wait like the rest.

Ideally I want to have a 24 man server with 2 reserved slots and not have the redirect moving people until it gets to 22/22 with the 2 hidden reserver slots.

Those slots are thre purely to let the admins get on adn sort the problems out, if they want to play they need to wait like everyone else does
I think its nicer this way as people playing dont get booted to make way and the only people who get redirected are those joining a full server.

Is it possible?

yeah, don't give your admins a reserved slot.
simple solution, just give a slot to yourself and that's it.

heh, the idea of using reserverd slots is so the admins can get on the server when they need to without having to kick players, ie how amx, amxx and adminmod do it.

There must be ways of making the plugin a) reserve slots as the standard program does and keep public players away from them and b) not reirect admins but treat them as the normal reserver system would.

LIke I said the plugin is great but it would be a hell of a lot better if it could be done keeping the reserved slots reserved so public players cannot end up in it and then get pushed off the server, I believe adminmod for example gives you options on how you can treat players giving you the option to kick players based on ping or when they joined or make the reserved slots only accessable by admins with reserved slot flags.

Surely it must be possible to use it either via cvars specifying reserverd slots, if public players are kicked or simply cannot join the slots and how many public slots are + having the redirect not redirect people with reserver slot flags or even a ini file with steamid's of people you dont want redirected.

The more options you give people the more people you will make happy imho.

this is an easy and effective plugin, i'm not going to change it, so save your
breath.

if you don't want anyone kicked, start your server with 10 slots more and reserve them.

admins waiting for a slot, that's nothing i would ever add.
but there are more redirection plugins here, maybe you should ask
there, because as i already said several times, i won't change anything.

it's in the first post of his topic.
and yes, what you see there are the settings that you
have to write into your amxx.cfg.

Nm it works, I was doing it wrong but why wont it let 18 players on? I have a 18 player server, have the reserved slot set at 1 but only 17 can get on. Why cant it let 18 get on and just let a admin use the reserved slot, the way it is now is when a admin is online still only 17 total can join. Is there anyway to make it so 17 regular people can join and the admin will use the last slot so server can be full?

that doesn't make sense, this plugin is for people with
several admins and one slot always has to stay open
or people won't be able to connect at all, not even admins.
