I am having trouble with this mod. When I enter it says it will return me to the lobby. But when it boots me it doesn't even go into the lobby. It returns me to the main menu.

Can someone help me out?

I haven't tried this mod, but it sounds like maybe you are not connecting via a lobby to begin with? If you are making a direct connection to the server (serverbrowser, HLSW, steam group, etc), I would expect it to just drop you to the main menu, because you never originated from a lobby to begin with. Of course if you are creating a lobby and using a search key to get to the server, then I don't know why it would drop you to the main menu.

I didn't want to put together a hackjob vs only server and was tired of two player coops being held on my server. This solved the problem nicely.

Correct. I think it's just meant to work for people using the match-making system. So people who direct connect will just go back to the main L4D menu.

The command returntolobby didn't work with that setting, i only saw the printed text *******return to lobby ******* but nothing happened.

I was thinking but you can do the same thing for co-op only server something like that :

l4d_game_mode 0|1|2

0 disabled
1 versus only
2 co-op only

(i personnaly don't need a co-op only server but well maybe some would want one dunno.)
