A quick question here, with what I will hope is a quick "yes" answer
Can I put the Linux and Windows compressed versions together, by merely using the entire Windows zip, and then only the .so files from in the Linux tar?
I noticed some datestamp differences on a ton when trying to merge them in a more complete manner, and am hoping that is merely a technicality.
We tend to have servers up and then down, and run three Windows boxes, and one FreeBSD box. Occasionally we have a server we'll slap onto the FreeBSD, and having a preconfigured (by me, not you) directory that I merely add and remove any additional plugins to/from will make my own life so much easier.
Oh, and for the record, I'm not talking about the AMD64 versions, either. ;)
Summation: Can I move nothing but the .so files from the linux tar into the windows zip set of files, and then use that successfully on the FreeBSD machine, without worrying about any other files?
Thanks,
