i am getting this same error.

i use the amxban module to give out admin rights, so i've decided to hold off on upgrading to version 1.0 untill this works correctly.

if someone could get back to me on this, i'd appreciate it.

Ok I think I had the same problem.

1: Check that ur connection to the MYSQL has access. My password was wrong, so the plugin was showing me errors like yours.. (I think)

2: Check if you have the MYSQL module running and ect.

Hope it works..

The plugins are running just fine on our systems.

Cheers

That's not a mysql server error...
It is an error in the amxbans.sma code.
I have it working alright with mysql but I also get those errors int the logs Se my post here
Maybe that is what makes that you can not ban a player that has already been banned

Only thing now is that if I have banned 1 player and then after a while when the ban has expired it is imossible to ban that player again with amxbans.
Only after you take away that ban from the webInterfac you can ban that player again.

I already posted about that problem before.
Se the post here

Btw YoMama where are you

Hope you get some time to look at these problems soon.

Yea also fix the bug in the ban menus.. Custom reason dont work from the standard installation! Mine has been fixed thx to the forum, but it would be nice to have that fixed in the next bug release!

Also I have found a small bug in the web interface:

"Manage Levels"

I want to add a second level, I want my webadmin to have the following rights:

"Add" "Edit own" "Delete own" "Unban own" and "Prune DB"

If I add the prune db, he can go change the servers information, and reason?????? I tried to remove the prune db several times and then he dont have access to it! If I choose the prune DB, he cant prune the db but instead have access to the "servers" where he can change reason and the rcon information.

Good to know you are there

I have a little request if it's not to hard to do.
Just add it in the todo list if you like it.

Can you make so that you need a special flag (maybe a #define at the top of source) to be able to use the console. The reason is that I don't want my admins to be able to use the console. Only give them the bantimes that I have defined in the menu.
I have tried several ways in amxbans.sma to make it work, but didn't get it right

And another small bug:
if you type in console which is wrong (forgot the time to ban)
amx_ban STEAM_0:2:2332 reason
amx_ban name reason
amx_ban IP reason
Then it doesn't give an error and it stores that in the database also

Thanks in advance.

Also, all of my dates are showing up in Feb. and Jan. of this year. I have checked the servers time and it is correct.

Heres a link to view the problem. http://servers.cause4alarm.net/bans

Anyone else seeing this? Thanks.

In Europe where I come from that's the right way for us to show dates.
