Password maximum length?

Is there a maximum length that someone's password can be? One of my clan members says that he has everything correct in his config file, but still gets the "you have no entry to this server" message. His password is 19 characters long, is that the problem?

jeez...

just put his SteamID in the users.cfg file and put the "no password checked" flag on it(also put "this is SteamID" flag on)

Yes, I know how to set up admin by Steam ID. However, that doesn't answer the question I asked.

Look in the admin.sma file. You can find it in there

I tried that, but I don't know anything about coding. It might as well be Greek. :-)

We fixed his password, but I'm still curious as to what the maximum password length is.

Either 31 or 63 characters, not sure exactly, just glanced over it

I can't imagine anyone having a 31 character password, but then, I couldn't imagine anyone having a 19 character password either. And actually it was supposed to be 20 characters, but the last one got left off, which was the problem he was having. Once we compared what he thought his password was to what it actually was, the problem was easily solved.
