Erm an idea:
Ghost mod
(Much like Zombie mod but slightly different.)
In this mod, 3 souls (Ts) have escaped from hell and a team of hunters (CTs) have been sent to subdue them. The Ghost Rider, a random CT picked per round is the only one who can end the round by killing the lich. The 3 souls consist of 2 Ghosts and 1 Lich. At the start of every round, everyone is moved to CT and 3 random players are selected to be the Ghosts and the Lich.
VSBC = Value is Set By a CVAR / Value or Option is adjustable by a CVAR.
Gameplay for Hunters:
To win the round, Hunters have to first kill the first Ghost. They will recieve a HUD confirmation (VSBC) when the first ghost dies. Then they have 45s (VSBC) to kill the other ghost. If they fail the first ghost simply respawns at a random place. If they succeed, they recieve yet another HUD confirmation and have another 30s (VSBC) (The time does NOT add to the previous one.) to locate and subdue the lich while both ghosts are still dead. If they fail, both ghosts respawn at random places. The lich has god mode and hence cannot die but only can be subdued.
How to subdue the lich. First, 1 person has to bind it telepathically. (bind v +lichbind). Then after it is bound, the lich will not be able to move. The Ghost Rider has to send the lich back to hell by simply switching to a knife and pointing it at the lich. A bar will appear showing the progress. It takes 10s (VSBC) to destroy the lich. Once that is done, the round ends and CTs win.
Note that you can choose to kill any ghost first theres no specific order. The lich can ONLY be bound AFTER the 2 ghosts are BOTH dead.
Gameplay for Ghosts:
To win the round, they have to kill Hunters until only the Ghost Rider is left. Since the ghost rider requires a hunter to bind the lich before he can subdue it, he is unable to kill it without a partner. Hence when only the Ghost Rider is left, he is immediately slain and the Ts win.
Hunters:
- 200HP and AP (VSBC)
- Unlimited Ammo (VSBC)
- Binding skill to bind Lich. (Lich can ONLY be bound AFTER BOTH ghosts are dead.)
Ghost Rider:
- God Mode
- Unlimited Ammo (VSBC)
- Only one that can destroy the Lich and end the round. (Point knife at the Lich while it is bound to destroy it. It takes 10s for the lich to be destroyed. a bar appears to show the progress.)
Ghost:
- 800 HP and AP (VSBC)
- Regenerate 10HP/s (VSBC)
- No weapons (Only can use Death Beam once every 15s. (VSBC))
- No Clip
- Invisibility
- 500 Speed (VSBC)
Lich:
- God mode
- Invisibility (More invisibly than a Ghost)
- No weapons (Only can use Death Beam once every 15s.)
- 350 Speed (VSBC)
Death Beam (binded key: bind v +beam):
- 1 HIT KO beam.
- Only can be used once every 15s. (VSBC)
- Cool Effects.
Here are some precautions to be taken:
1. Ghosts can only remain within a certain radius of the lich. If they exit, they are given 5s to catch up to the lich or they are slain. Note that if they are slain, the same HUD confirmation message is shown to everyone and they can go after the second ghost. If they are slain in this manner, it is as good as a CT killing them.
2. Lich cannot no clip because, if he can, all 3 ghosts can no clip FAR away.
3. Ghost Rider cannot be killed. Only can be slain when all his Hunter (CT) team mates die.
Eh.. Its sort of a fantasy Mod I suddenly thought up of. Its definately going to be hard to code ;).
