rgr I can throw up a test box you can use all you want also sid just pm me in IRC or something and I will switch our test server over to dod and get you access to files if you want. From what I saw in the fix it was just removing a bunch of the extra code for the html part of the veiwer. Not sure what was causing not to link but if you need the difference between the 9/14 and his fix I can post that also so you can see it. Just let me know.

What code would I change in dod_tk_manager to keep it from banning, just kicking on tklimit?

I want it to kick, don't want it to ban, that to me is a shade harsh in most cases, and the server has enough admins to handle jackasses in case of the rare event of purposeful TK'ing.

Would I set the line dod_ban to -1? Would that do it, or is -1 a dead value for an option?

Seems that the map voting isnt working correctly

Quote:
// Some ratios for voting success
amx_votekick_ratio 0.40
amx_voteban_ratio 0.40
amx_votemap_ratio 0.40
amx_vote_ratio 0.02
Thats my settings and it seems to change to whatever map is voted for first or that two people on the server vote for.

Read the top of the plug itself.. paste the variables to your amxx.cfg and set them to where you want.

Code:
//Additional materials-6:55 PM 8/24/2004

amx_tk_limit 6
//number of TKs allowed before banning

amx_tk_bantime 0
//how long to ban if limit exceeded (0=permanent)

amx_tk_adminimmunity 1
//prevent admin from being kicked/banned for TKing (for admins with ADMIN_BAN access)

amx_tk_forgivetype 2
//how to forgive, 0="say forgivetk", 1=Yes/No menu, 2=both

amx_tk_usemapmemory 1
//use map specific TK memory (prevents TKers from resetting their counter by connnecting/reconnecting)

amx_tk_infomessages 0
//show information messages (chat text)

amx_tk_usehostname 0
//use hostname in messages

//*  default settings
//*  ----------------
//*  amx_tk_limit 5
//*  amx_tk_bantime 1440
//*  amx_tk_adminimmunity 1
//*  amx_tk_forgivetype 2
//*  amx_tk_usemapmemory 1
//*  amx_tk_infomessages 1
//*  amx_tk_usehostname 1
Personally, how often can a admin be there and then wants to take away there fun to play baby sitter... they do the crime they do the time.

Thanks stoned for the tips. I'll see what works out. For now I just changed TK limit to 10. I figure if you reach that point, you probably blow anyway and need a format c:, not just a ban

I loaded up RC6 this morning and I still had to change the stats.amxx to view stats/rank. Did I missunderstand the post above or is was [*BGF*]Storm talking about something else? Anyway I would love to see that one thing fixed so that when i load the nightly builds to test I would not have to keep changing the stats.amxx. Not griping Sid just looking for info.
