Just remember submaps should have the same number of spawns for each team (otherwise tm_builder will try to equalize it).

I've picked one texture set for tour_dust(s), tour_assault; but it's not necessary to have one unique 'theme'. Of course the more textures you use in map, more stuff is required to be precached.

ok...atm...i must say the map will get delayed....

im still working....but the first submap (the one from screeny)
made me a bit mad :/ i tried to use a arror to show where to throw the nades

exactly i tried to make a convoyer (or conveyer xD) with it

and till that worked....oh man [i forgot to add the "scroll" tag to the textures name]
and when it finally worked i have seen that it didnt wanted how i wanted to :/

so i will look...now for 1. another scroll texture or 2. try messing with the arrows

lol, they usually turns out to get more complicated than we've planned.

A tip: if you're not building the five maps in the same rmf from the beginning (hammer tends to be faster and less buggy when working with fewer objects), it's a good idea to build them in the exact position they'll be pasted in the final rmf; otherwise you might need to re-fix all textures positions.

Also try not to abuse from entities that may slow down the map fps like track trains, vehicles, etc; it's one unique map for the engine. ;)

i dont need to worry about that...i got a relative fast comp

3,6 ghz and 1 gig ram ^^



and i cant understand why is everyone crying about :
"óh noes not that much entities"

at the ime of half life (10 years back ) okay...but in this time
i dont think the most people have problems with some more ents


edit1: the map in submap-1 alpha-1 state

it doesnt look that impressiv but it will come i hope lol

woohooo little update xD

i changed the "convoyer" to just 2 blinking arrows....

here are 2 new scrennies

i still need a good texture for walls and stuff

I guess you haven't applied rad yet?
Maybe you could experiment walls with darker metal textures.
