Plugins forum not working?

i am unable to download anything from this server's plugin forum. is it just me?

are you using amxmod.org or amxmodx.org ?

I've tried both amxmod.org and amxmodx.org
the links in the plugin forum typically point to amxmodx.org
when i try to download anything from this site it says:

Internet explorer canot download download.php?id=111 from www.amxmodx.org.

internet explorer was not able to oipen this internet site. the requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. please try again later.

i've poked around the site a lil bit and brought up the download script on its own (which tells me i'm a dumbass for not telling it what i want) but when i specify a particular id for a file it gives that message.

i'm beginin to wonder if my computer has `issues'

The problem is there... but I have worked around it from day one here...

Click on the link:

Hit Save:

You have 2 choices here, change save as type to "All Files" and rename it here to the proper name (In my example amx_atac.zip) OR just save it as "download".

If you saved it as download you now have to rename it... again, right click, rename. (amx_atac.zip)

You have your file... downloads should work properly but don't... but it does in fact work... I hope that helps...

I thinkis it a problem if you don't have the file name registered with windows and have IE security high..

So, what filename do you register when none of them work and have no extension ?

I normally dont run into that unless its a file for linux. but use a custom security profile and ie settings o maybe thats why I dont have a problem.. I donno..
