Also dont work with Sourceforts. Instantly crashes it if you try to use the command.

I wouldn't expect it to work with Sourceforts since most mods other than DOD:S and CSS:S have totally different vfunc offsets.

The next version of the plugin will have a config file where everything is stored. It will also perform selective loading of features and options based on game type.

best config for this mod:

slot3
grabber_users "*"
alias "grab" "+grab"
bind mwheeldown grab_reverse
bind mwheelup grab_forward
bind mouse1 grab_shoot
bind mouse2 grab

save as grabber.gcf and in-game type "exec grabber" to console!

I have updated the plugin with a beta version that I have been messing around with for a long time (as in a few months). I added spawning (thanks to L Duke) and added the much requested user access levels.

I have fixed numerous crash bugs related to bad entities. There is a ton of error checking internally now so it shouldn't crash on non-existent entities, players leaving, etc.

Note: There is a linux issue with cvars, probably related to a problem with my makefile. I am working on fixing this.

An odd and funny bug. [Stationary] Props moved using Entity Grabber can instantly kill players if they come in contact with the props. Using Entity Grabber v1.2.0 beta.

This happens with certain types of props that aren't designed to be moved. I didn't do extensive testing to figure out which types of props cause this. If you are having problems with map entities then you will need to change ReplacePhysics to 0 in grabber_config.txt

Note that there is nothing I can do with props dynamically generated by mods / plugins. I may add in a filter to filter out these kinds of entities, but this can take a while since I am busy trying to add on stuff (mainly vehicle spawning).

Hello,
nice plugin!
But the new beta did not work on Linux Servers .

It says everytime "You have no access" and grabber_users returns Unknown command.
grab_help shows the help. So the plugin is loaded.

Btw: Its crashing very often again on Linux servers
