clarification. If I take BOTH BTA and BotCtrl out of metaplugins.ini all is okay.
If I leave either one OR the other in (on a whim I tried BotCtrl standalone), the same crash happens.

This leads me to think maybe when MetaMod is loading any plugin something bad is happening. I'll download another just to test this out.

try using the BAT beta.

also are you running mani on the box to? There is no point in mani and BAT.

If that fails, zip up your addons folder and pm me a link to download it

I think I'm set. Bat 1.4 crashed too.
I moved the :exec BATConfig.cfg to the top of my server.cfg.
But what I really think did it was I changed the bat_loadsettings to 0
and that seemed to work for both 1.3.1 and 1.4.

Now of course I have a new problem. Reinstalled CS bot control and if the
addons\.....\csb***_mm line is in my metaplugins.ini file the console crashes before ever starting. I'll re-download and try again. The bot control would be nice, but I can bind some keypad keys or something to that not a big deal.

BAT 1.4.0 B5 - Fixed: SQL code would not disable itself after 5 errors (Reported by devicenull) - Fixed: Plugin would try to push log information into the SQL Database even after 5 errors (Reported by devicenull)

I also used the old makefile to build the nix .so let me know if that fixed the issues with it not loading?

Why would it not?

I fired it up on my dystopia test servers and have been running since the release.
The BAT map voting system does not work, but the rest works just fine

I'm wondering if setting bat_reservedslots to 2
and reservedsloutscount to 0 would make it function so that the last slot is always kept open maybe? So whenever an admin joins it kicks another player if its full to keep that last slot open. I forget that amxx doesnt work like that since thats how i've always setup my reserved slots.
