Installed AMXmod X Need Serious Help

Hey everyone, I just downloaded the AMXmodX Full installer programs and I didn't have a problem with any of it. I used the FTP Remote access to install AMXX to my Counter-strike server. Everything went fine. Except at the end it said something about CHMOD Access denied. But now when I am playing in my server my ping is like 200+. I have tried reinstalling steam/counter-strike. But nothing works. This is the only server that I have a ping problem on, all the other ones are fine. If someone could please help me that would be great. Thanks.

Elaborate more.

List your plugins.ini (and metamod plugins.ini), versions and what not. You gave no information.

If it's just a cpu issue talk to your server provider about it. It could be poorly set rates, though.

ok so obviously your running a Unix-like environment, if your getting a CHMOD error, Unless your FTP location is. Have you tried looking through the files and seeing if you have set permission on everything. usually a CHMOD access denied error means you dont have the right permission to be using the file or FILE SETS. If your ping is waCked out then you should try and make sure all your network configs are correctly set up, and make sure ur daemon is set correctly, if its pushing more than it should be then thats probaly ur probelm. Be more IN depth. list some files. or cfg's.

Disable AMXX. Does the problem still exist?
