Just as a warning, if you have mode +c on your channel, quite a few functions of IRC Relay will NOT work.

This completely confuddled me for a few hours

The +c mode restricts and blocks any messages with colour tags in them, so the IRC Relay messages that use colour cannot be sent to the channel.

Heh, yeah.. if you don't want colour than you can use the +S flag instead, if the IRC network supports it (strips colour tags). You could also edit the cfg files.

No.. +c stops the messages from showing at all. +S still shows the message, but it removes the color tags. However, the S channel flag isn't available on very many networks I know of.

+S is only available on unreal ircd's
most of the networks are based on the asuka ircd
