Hi, just registered on the forums, been watching for a far for a lil bit.

I was wondering if it was possible to create a system where an amxx command or vote can trigger a map entity like a player using it.

For example there is a hidden button on a map that admins have to teleport a player to activate (as it changes the map layout and would get spammed if it was in the open). It would be nice if there was a way of triggering this button via an amxx command/a player vote.

I am a noob to AMXX so i wouldnt know if this was possible, the extent of my ability involves adding a cvar to a plugin to turn it on or off.

Amx_Blink.

Fun too. Everytime I do it, I have to say blink.

Bind it to a key. If its behind a wall just tap that key like as fast as you can. Aim at the floor...

I think you misunderstood my request. I would like a plugin/how to code a plugin that upon entering a command in the console or as the result of a vote It triggers a map entitiy, for example a func_button with the name button

cs_militia301

Its a militia remake that is exactly like the original until a button is pressed, this button adds and changes parts of the map which enhance gameplay. Although the only way we could get it to not be abused was to put this button in a sealed room and have an admin teleport someone in there. Which isnt very practical if an admin isnt on the server or if an admin is for that matter. I can get you the rmf or any entity names you need as I did the mapping.

Sure ill zip the Map with the .rmf Hammer file and any other files you need to play the map on a server. The Button is located in the pillar of the arch behind sewer 2.
