hey guys,

I'm having a problem with PTBx 1.7x1 and my windows css server. After a couple of mins the server just dies. I've followed the install to the letter but as i only wanted PTB i only installed the PTB files. Is that were i went wrong?

FYI the other plugins i have installed are:-

Mani Admin Plugin 1.2 beta m rc7
hlstatsx 1.01
small statsme plugin (latest version)
Zblock min (latest version)
Steambans 1.00

I'm also running a ping booster. Any one got any ideas coz the logs are giving nothing away.

Also i can't givre any more inof than i have as the server is hosted for me by someone else and i don't know the hardware specs or windows version.

I've looked everywhere to see if there is a solution but can't find one that exactly fits my problem or my needs. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!

It could be a conflict with another plugin, which you can find out by start with PTBx alone and then add one of the others, at the time.

How can i configure this mod as standalone? Just extract the ptbx files to addons i guess and how to set config then?

Sorry it's taken me months to repsond, i've been on a bit of sabatical. Right so heres my current situation. Ptbx (latest version) is crashing my server (again, i had removed ptbx in favour of etb but i wish i hadn't bothered with etb). I'm running all the latest version of the plugins above. with the addition of matties events scripts (latest beta. but only because the stable one crashes my server, LOL), ace rates and roger devils CMP mod (latest version of that too).

What i'm trying to is run ptbx as a standalone plugin as i don't need all the other features of your excellent looking plugin XAD. I was interested to read that you think it's an incompatibility with another plugin. I would gladly find out which is the cause (if that is the problem) but i use the plugins i do for a reason, i.e i have found they are the best ones for the job i need them to do. so if there is an issue there i'll leave it up to you to work a fix and release a new version of ptb.

I also have the same problem I run it with the newest beta of mani and when 3 people join the game it would crash

I am aslo running the steambans Plugin and zblock min( I got a feeling this is doing it) I will Try the plugins one by one and see if they do conflict.

- Put serverplugin_ptbx.vdf and serverplugin_ptbx_i486.so into the /cstrike/addons dir
- Put ptb.cfg and the ptb.[lang] files into the /cstrike/cfg/xadmin dir
- Alter the config to meet your needs
- Just skip the rest of the XAdmin stuff, you're done!

Please let me know which plugin causes problem for PTBx (at a minimum your test work will help other admins).

Ptbx Crashing when it is the only Plugin running on a windows server


It will allow 3 people to play one round then the start of the next round it crashes
