Personalized maps

A thread elsewhere on these forums about customizing the web interface via css gave me a thought. What about a plugin to place a few random sprays from admin-selected images around the map, like posters or graffity in many maps. Clans could create some clan-specific posters, for example, to cuztomize their servers. Personal servers could put up some funny messages, or whatever else.

Excellent idea! Great simple non-mod specific plugin. And it wouldnt require downloading of custom maps or anything.

Surprised this hasn't been thought of before!

It has been done, with CS, I think the metamod plugin was made by Botman.
All you did was download the tga file, and you would beable to see it in the map. You should of seen it on one of the UK-Gaming server (Ya know the Company / Clan that have like 300 servers.)

Hmm, interesting. I don't play on UK servers, so I've not seen it.

I dont eather, but I did connect to a few one time. (Shit happens when its 3 AM)
