Version 8.28 is out!

Bug fixes

1. Fixed the Panic ability not working in L4D1.

Changes

1. Changed how the Bomb ability creates explosions to prevent crashes.
2. Removed the "Bomb Power" setting.
3. Optimized code a bit.

Files

1. Updated include file to remove the "Bomb Power" setting from the auto-config generator.
2. Updated config file to remove the "Bomb Power" setting.

Yeah not sure what all you did on V8.27, but the tanks flash and nothing spawns. I even tried the newest version cleaned off all the previous version and restart the server even used your config with all your tanks. I see the text saying a Bomb Tank is coming and hear the music then they die or disappear. I even have a hard time getting one tank to manually spawn now takes 10 or more tries to get one to appear. Ping jumps to 200+ as soon as the flashing tanks start. Disable the plugin and the server runs fine no issues at all. So I go to check the error logs and there are no errors. It like it stuck in a loop that keeps building an slowing the server. Any ideas man?

I don't know what else to say man. I did everything I could to lessen the likeliness of that issue from happening. I've been testing since last night and that's already a total of 12 hours spent on just this one issue alone. :/

You're on a dedicated server right?

Yes I am on a dedicated server. I just can't seem to find what is causing the loop on my end. I have tried everything I can think of including using each version the way you pack it without modify the config at all. Then I tried with my config and tanks, results are the same. Well I am going to bed, try to attack this tomorrow with a fresher mind. Thanks man, I know the hours you put in I am doing the same and I appreciate it very much.

The only thing I can think of is since you separated the plugin into all the pieces is there is lag between the pieces. Given the right conditions it builds or loops. I not sure how to test it, just know prior to you breaking it into pieces it never did this. Well tomorrow I will shutdown the server and disable every plugin in except yours and admin menu and see what happens. If I still have the issue then, not sure what else can be done. What version of sourcemod are you using? I am using 1.8, maybe I need to upgrade to 1.9 or your using a different version then me.

I use 1.8.6050 of SM. I doubt that breaking the plugin into pieces caused the issue since the Tank spawner is inside the core plugin. The other plugins are just the abilities. I'll keep looking into this.

I repair and troubleshoot hardware systems not code here. I am trying to apply the logic I use in my business to the plugins I work with. Could you make the ability to disable this plugin in game(via cvar or some command)?
I have a players vote menu to set server settings, include enable/disable Supertanks...
Using yours plugin from version 4.0, earlier cvar st_on worked perfect, after major update I used load and unload method, but now it's dead end;D
