hey guys - So I have followed the steps to set up my own CSGO dedicated server (doing this through AWS) and I am successfully able to create / join the server initially. The problem is whenever I leave the game and try to reconnect I get the error message "srcds has stopped working" and then the server crashes. The srcds message doesnt pop up until someone tries to join the server for the second time. Have looked online and this error message is common but there's nothing specific to this. Would appreciate any guidance here.

edit: the exact message that pops up in the cmd when this happens is "Missing shutdown function for Sys_InitAuthentication"

PS: One other interesting data point... If i am in game and try to change the level using rcon the server crashes (with the same srcds stopped working message). But if i leave the game and change the level using the steamcmd (from outside the game) the map successfully changes and i am able to rejoin.

have you installed the latest metamod and sourcemod?
validate the integrity of server files.

yes - I have been getting this same issue before and after installing sm/mm

Maybe there is something you are doing wrong. Try to install the csgo server again through LGSM:

The server needs to be windows so I don't think this route would work. I also have used the steamCMD gui as well as the csgosl github and got similar issues.

Any other suggestions? Been trying to fix this for a while.
