So, this is the error message im getting and I have not been able to fix the issue.

Could not establish connection to Steam servers. (Result = 3)
also sv_secure returns unknown command, is that normal for TF2?

The server is a dedicated server hosted by pingperfect, so my ability to change launch options etc is very limited.
Heres the launch options:
Code:
	-console -game tf -nohltv -condebug +maxplayers 8 -ip 85.10.194.41 -port 27025 +exec "server.cfg" +map "achievement_slideshow_tech" +fps_max 300
The config doesnt contain anything of importance. The issue was identical without the config loaded.

The missing connection leads to VAC being disabled, no browser listing and no item server connection.
SM doesnt detect me as admin even tho my SteamID is properly in the config and it has been updated. I dont know if that also relates to the missing steam connection.

I would greatly appreciate any help, since I dont think the pingperfect support is very experienced with TF2 server issues in particular.

Thanks in advance,
mrtechnik

EResult 3 is "NoConnection", so nothing special - does your host do outbound filtering? have you tried disabling any firewalls? I see you mentioned a GSP, you almost certainly are going to need to talk to them on this - that's what you pay them for after all.

No Source game has a cvar called sv_secure, VAC is enabled by default unless -insecure is passed on the command line.

Yes, SourceMod by default requires online validation with Steam before it grants admin access.
