Sometimes when your convert some weapon models from other games to CS 1.6, this models have very long animations, for example reload of "v_aug" have 133 frames, when if reload will be have 140 frames, will be play only 133 frames from 140 frames, and part of animation will not play

Here i write how make more shortly animation of weapon model, for good suitable with CS 1.6

One time i had model of Gauss from Stalker for CS:S, which i convert to in 1.6, but in game animation wasn't play full and wasn't play for the end, because she was very long

What i done with it ? Read

Decompile model, open MilkShape3D

Tools -> Kratisto's Half-Life Model Decompiler

See have many animation's have model (for example get "v_aug"), open "v_aug" in Jed's Half-Life Model Viewer, open "Weapon origin", see animation "reload" and see "Frames", here it 133 (In ".smd" numbering go from 0 to 132)

We need to make animation more short

For example we download model "v_aug" and she have 140 frames

Which frames we need to delete ?

Frames which repeated and in different places, to don't cut a lot of animation in one place (to she will normal play in future), we need to cut the same animation's (same frames), to don't cut important frames which go for a one, and not for several

For example our animation have 140 frames, from 0 to 139 (In ".smd")

And for example frames from 5 to 8 same's, and frames from 27 to 29 same's too

Open "reload.smd" with notepad, delete all from "time 4" to "time 8", and from "time 26" to "time 29"

And numbering all frames anew (all "time #") from "time 0", to "time 132"

Save "reload.smd"

Open MilkShape3D

Tools -> Half-Life -> Compile .QC File

Compile and test in game

Or you can just speed up the animations frame rate from the .qc file
Or you can just scale animation in milkshape 3d

What you should do is create a tutorial showing us how exactly you rig meshes to new bones so smooth

And the website with the tutorial is in russian, won't be useful for non russian members
