Better solution would be to just increase the price of the weapon so it's more balanced.

I'm not too sure about that, although I can add a cvar for that if you would like?

That would be cool. In regular game play is the gun so broken that having a $1,500 price tag or something would still be unfair? I guess if you are running a custom game mode or you have unlimited cash at start of round that wouldn't help, but in normal game play I think it would be good.

Well dang, I just thought of an issue which I should of realised, but since I indeed can't determine if the player is buying a deagle or revolver the cvar could potentially affect players buying a deagle ie charging them more money, I'd suggest either waiting for valve to fix the gun or using this plugin with cvar set to 0, I can't make any further fixes to the plugin right now as I'm not at my computer :/

Edit: I request this plugin to be unapproved once valve balance the gun.

I think it block buying weapon_deagle with sm_rc_type 0 if player has below $850
