I tried to login on https://sm.alliedmods.net/api/ and it's telling me my PW is incorrect. Is there a separate registration page for the API?

I went to leave a comment on the CreateDialog function's page, but it said I need to log in.

Use the one that's kept up to date, and linked to from the sourcemod.net main page.

Oh jeez how in the heck did I miss that for so long?

And hey, this is what I was trying to leave in a comment on the old API, under CreateDialog.

The new API site is shit because of the lack of user comments (and it doesn't seem like you can add any).

The old API had people write comments with additional info or "gotchas" so that people looking at it will be aware of them.

(That and the new API doesn't mention default/optional parameter values for function prototypes. Oh, and it also doesn't work on mobile devices.)

I do share that POV about losing comments . I asked a few questions on irc a few months back :

Code:
Mar 10 18:27:54 <dvander>	i dont know of any plans to add a commenting system to the new api page
And just so you know :

Code:
Mar 10 18:29:52 <dvander>	RedSword: i'm not denying the utility, i'm just saying it probably won't get done because no one's doing it.
Mar 10 18:29:56 <thorrr>	If the comment is actually helpful, and the answer is correct, chances are it should be in docs
Mar 10 18:30:08 <dvander>	if there's a problem with the API, it should just be addressed in the .inc
Mar 10 18:30:12 <thorrr>	in an "official" capacity
Mar 10 18:30:17 <dvander>	^
Mar 10 18:30:24 <asherkin>	like most open source projects, we don't have any technical writers
Mar 10 18:30:48 <asherkin>	so the docs are bare-minimum
I tried to do a small change to the documentation of a function (like 6 months ago). I'd prefer it as a comment, but since it's impossible, you have to request a documentation change, which will be denied if its too specific (for example saying that team 2 is the CTs in CSGO when using GetClientTeam()); so yes, we really lost something in the new-api.

And :

Code:
Mar 10 18:36:14 <RedSword>	also why are we switching to a new api ?
Mar 10 18:36:39 <dvander>	we wanted methodmaps to be documented
