TF2 Flags to Bombs with Upgrades

What is it?
Turns CTF flags into MvM bomb with upgrades


Stages | Upgrades | Time Interval (Seconds)
First stage | Defensive buff, shared with all nearby teammates | 5
Second stage | 45 health regenerated per second | 15
Final stage | Full crits all the time | 15

Requires TF2Attributes

Cvars:
tf2_flagstobombs_version Plugin Version
tf2_flagstobombs_enable (default: 1.0) Enable/disable plugin
tf2_flagstobombs_speedpenalty (default 0.5 / 50%) Movement speed penalty for bomb carrier.
tf2_flagstobombs_stage1_time (default: 5.0 seconds) How long to wait to receive stage 1?
tf2_flagstobombs_stage1_buffradius (default 380.0 HU) Size of the radius in which teammates will receive stage 1 buff
tf2_flagstobombs_stage2_time (default: 15.0 seconds) How long to wait to receive stage 2?
tf2_flagstobombs_stage3_time (default: 15.0 seconds) How long to wait to receive stage 3?

Chaneglog:
1.0 - Initial Release
1.1 - Added tf2_flagstobombs_speedpenalty
1.2 - Changed TFCond_Canteen to TFCond_CritOnWin

I know you just posted this, but it might be useful to document a few things like...
  • The TF2Attributes dependency. I don't think dependencies are properly listed while a plugin is in the New Plugins section.
  • The MvM-specific things dealing with bombs.
    • The movespeed downgrade on the bomb carrier.
    • What the upgrades do.

It's nice to see people using SpeakResponseConcept. I documented it a while back, but only the few plugins I wrote actually use it.

I wish you could spawn the bomb which would be bunny for fun servers

The bomb is just an entity... or so I think it is. You can create it and parent it to someone. (At least I did this with my failed robot medic shield attempt.)

All you need to do is to create an item_teamflag and it will create a neutral flag

I'm sure you can use ent_create to spawn a flag entity.

If you're talking about the MvM bomb, it's just an item_teamflag with its "flag_model" keyvalue set to "models/props_td/atom_bomb.mdl".

I made a quick plugin to change the flag to a bomb before, which is why Pelipoika is crediting me in the first post.
