Can anyone tell me the way of how to make counter strike server working 24 hour per day 7 days using HLDS, I mean when I shut down my computer or reset the router I want the IP for the server not to change and can work even if I was offline.

I think there is something called VPS may help but I didn't understand how.

Plz explain step by step

Does the vps has a numbers ?
I mean can I use it as I use the the IP ?
so I just use the vps as a static IP?
If so how to use the static ip (vps) instead of my real ip?
Would it work even if I am offline ?
Finally I need a free vps !!

You need to either purchase a game server from a game server provider or purchase a VPS from an online service. Hosting from home is not recommended. Typically, you have a dynamic IP but sometimes you can purchase a static IP from your ISP but then you have to consider that when people on your network use the internet, it can slow down your connection (for your server).

Do you mean that alwaysonpc is not benefit for me in this side (making counter server) ??
Wont this make a danger for me (If I have a static ip for my real computer) ??

After you ans my previous questions, I want to say that I have registered in it (noip.com) ... how to useit to make a stattic ip for my counter and I hope that it would work 24/7 all the time

I found a way using hamatchi, but I didnt tried it, because it requires making accounts for every player (admin or client) ...
If anyone made a video of how to making 24/7 server, I would be very thankful.
