Why people use "So did i" ? Whats the meaning of this? Googled it already but i could'nt understand what it really means...Any help?

Boy:- Hey, did you got a tech fair?
Girl:- Yeah at school
Boy:- I got so much free stuff...like its crazy....even with the shirt i put on right now....
Girl:- I know..So did I.

What does so did i mean in these dialogues?
