ZR craches with CS:GO last update - Page 8

For this problem to be going on for two months leads me to three things.

1. They don't know what is causing it after they added the Halloween stuff.
2. They don't see anything wrong that could be causing it with what they did.
3. They don't care.

I would think the csgodevs would atleast check up on it because this bug is causing CS:GO Zombiemod servers to crash that people pay for each month. Let's also not forget when csgodevs supported zombiemod for csgo years back by adding an official zombie model.

Valve forgot CS:GO ZR and metamod, sourcemod!

SourceMod and Metamod use hacks to get access to the Source engine. Those hacks may break on updates and there's not much to do other than updating SourceMod and Metamod (the gamedata stuff).

This is something that will happen again and again due to how these hacks are done. Usually the SourceMod team only need to scan for new function signatures and update offsets. Since the addon API for valve plugins isn't good enough (for whatever reason that Metamod is solving), we have to live with this.

It's not the last time. There will be more crashes after updates that may take some time to solve.

You probably agree that Valve could make a better API, but I don't think it's right to blame them on this (assuming outdated hacks in SourceMod/Metamod is causing the crash).

(Correct me if I'm wrong. I don't know the details of these hacks since I haven't bothered to study them.)

The models issue is "supposedly" not fixed and causes crashes but many servers still use models, and a wide range too. Has it been fixed after all? What models for sure will ensure no crashes?

Maybe its just the human skins not causing the crashing.

My server crash 5-10 times a day I have tried all tired and wait for the help !!OS Windows!

If you're under the impression that we've somehow fixed this, you're dead wrong. It's an issue that will most likely need to be patched by Valve.
