I think if I were to commission something it would be TF2Kartball, like Dodgeball. Valve's minigame is excellent fun but too shortlived and I think there would be demand for this mode and extended matches. The map could be simple too like the minigame map. Hmmm.

Practice makes perfect.
Although just keep in mind some of the people who can write a plugin within a day actually do spend their whole day on that project, which is harder if you take up on other responsibilities.. (Also most of the people who grind to release plugins early leave leaks, mistakes, or unoptimized code.)

lol yeah that happened with my first two plugins, throwsap and ignore, which still need big updates.

Though I really should update to 0x0C of bumpercars as it does have an important fix.

It's great that you guys are willing to make one public. I also think there is nothing wrong with selling plugins.

True, allied modders is awesome, and is great for the sharing of source codes.

Still have to try out this TF2Kart thing, can't wait!

Has this been released? If not, I will create a map / plugin as a bit of fun.

This is really simple for a 'first version'. Consider the following:

Plugin:
- Place all players in a cart
- Disable collisions
- Add a timer
edit: - Count the laps on the plugin, easier

Any further enhancements (powerups, stats) can be added easily, but may take a little while to fully code. ;) (stats = simple mysql mind you + menu)

Then the map is the tricky bit. I will post an analysis of what I'm doing after I've finished an alpha.

I will get a beta out this weekend.

Well what I'm making basically gives mappers a bunch of tools and handles some logic.

Been working on a system that track's who's in first place so it can be dynamically updated in a HUD and whatnot.

We have a good idea for how we're gonna do it and I've been working with one of our mappers for testing.
