hi this is the first post for me in sourcemod section

i want to know is it good to use SMAC?
and is it detect every hack?
is SMAC detect the hackers very fast?
is it better than vac to protect your server?

i hope someone answer my questions

SMAC is good but it can't catch every hacker. Also it's down for a DMCA (but it has a site up somewhere (DMCA prevents me from posting link) with download). Latest: 0.8.5.1

ye i have the plugin but
is it detect every hack?

Like I said, it's good, but not perfect in catching hackers, some of the modules are prone to false positives and some hackers can bypass smac detection, so in all, I recommend leaving smac on notify and not auto-ban

I have never had anyone auto banned by SMAC that came to our forum and protested. We get dozens every month who get banned by an admin and come to protest.

it was more in the beginning we had "some" false positive due to engine updates and/or poor coding from kac, and of course new game mechanics implemented along the way.

its not easy to make a bug free anti cheat and software for the whole speaking, there will always be loops and holes bugs and glitches, the most important you users can do is to test for bugs and report them,

just like mine job is for SMAC
