Hi would like to ask any server owners running the map workshop on their servers on how to get the maps to change after a map vote.

I have everything working on my command line no problem.

I use source mod map voting system.

I would like to know for this to be able to work. Do I use the mapcycle folder and add the maps like this

workshop/125488374/de_dust2_se
workshop/125499116/de_inferno_se
workshop/125498553/de_nuke_se

for the map voting system to work ???

Is there anything else involved ie adding them to the gamemode_server.txt file as well ??

Not seeing those maps in the vote? Or what is it doing after a map vote?

You really don't need the full path, just the base map name will work. ie. 'de_dust2_se'.

Do I add them in the gamemode_server.txt file as well.

After the map vote it returned to the default map ie de_dust2_se

show me your startup line. You do have those maps in a "collection" ?

you should be using +host_workshop_collection <xxx> in your startup line ? you do not need to mess with gamemode_server.txt

"everything working on my command line no problem."
what is working on your command line!? how do you vote for maps on your command line?

thats what in the command line +host_workshop_collection 250960401 +host_workshop_map 131710284 -authkey 12345677898vf6678989

This is the mapcycle folder
de_dust2_se
de_inferno_se
de_nuke_se
de_Cache
de_mirage_new_ce
de_toscan

I went through all the maps on my server and they all work fine when changing through the admin menu

If you use csgo in-game vote = then add maps in gamemode_server.txt and +mapgroup mapgroupname, disable SM nextmap + mapchooser.

If use SM mapchooser, disable csgo in-game vote and add your maps into example
...csgo/mapcyclefile_server.txt
and add in server config file
Code:
sm_cvar mapcyclefile mapcyclefile_server.txt
*edit
default mapcyclefile.txt file get reset after updating server via SteamCMD.
