Makes me wonder if they have their firewall tied to the Remote IP list. Double check and make sure that you have added your server IP as an allowed host in the Remote MySQL section

it is, i added it myself, and the hosting also added it with the % variable flags for testing while i was talking with them

Then I am out of ideas. I just tried it again on my VPS and I still cannot access your SQL server. The only thing left I can think of is that the SQL Server is not running on Port 3306

yeah, started having the problems last night when i tried to get it doing on a second server, then the third server, but the working server 1 is connecting on port 3306, but the other 2 cant connect :/
