Hi sir, thanks for replying.
It's an VPS in Germany,Frankfurt. 1 Gb line, but it doesn't seem to be anproblem with the connection.

Contacted the host and said there is no network overload.

Okay, so it is most likely a shared connection then. Typically, it will be caused by a bottleneck on the connection or host (since it is a VPS). What type of VPS framework is being used? Does your VPS have Dedicated or Shared resources?

Hi sir, sorry about that, didn't saw it.

It's an KVM, using latest CentOS 32x (tried even with x64, same).

Then the only thing I can think of is a process on your VPS required more resources during that time than what was available (specifically Network resources) or your network connection encountered a brief bottleneck.

I will contact the host once more and ask them to move me to another node.

Also I've noticed this:
Quote:
CPU In Out Uptime Users FPS Players
0.00 3.28 5.34 3 1 439.37 1
For some reason it shows all the time CPU usage 0.00. While using command "top" shows actual usage:
Quote:
1172 cs_srv 20 0 96388 71m 8840 R 6.0 14.4 0:18.11 hlds_i686

Your ideal server rates should be:
Code:
sv_minrate 0
sv_maxrate 100000 // Servers should start using 100000 since the new CS update
sv_minupdaterate 30
sv_maxupdaterate 102 // Some of my clients use 102 for slightly better performance. You can use 100 too, it's up to you...
Always use -pingboost 2, -pingboost 3 is too powerful for your system.
I'm quite sure that you will never get 1000 FPS, use sys_ticrate 100 or 300 instead.

Okay so my players don't get lag, loss: 0, choke: 0.
But players pings go to 120 and goes back to normal. (every 10 seconds).

But no player lag.

I've used:
Quote:
sv_unlag 1/0
sv_maxunlag 1/0.1/0.25/0.30/0.50
But it still laggs. They use same rates on other servers without any problem.
