How's it going guys.

I just got my srcds dedicated server. I have installed CSS and got it up and running. I get no errors except for "r_decal_cullsize" but I was told not to worry about that. Thing is, when I try to add it my favorites I get the "not responding" prompt.

I checked with my server host and he tells me the ports are opened. Am I missing something so I can connect to my server thru steam?

Here's my server command line right now;

C:\CSS\srcds.exe -console -game cstrike -autoupdate +ip 74.121.181.122 -port 27015 -maxplayers 32 -map de_dust2

I've tried everything that I know of. My server.cfg has sv_lan 0. Any help would be much appreciated!

I think it's -ip <address> not +ip.

I placed -ip and it did not work. I am puzzled.

Do you have access to the console GUI? If so type "status" and paste the output here. That will tell you what IP the server thinks it has.

Other than that, if the server boots normally and error free, it can really only be a routing/firewall problem.

what if you just remove all ip parameters and cvars, let srcds pick them automatically.
it's +map de_dust2
and there isn't -tickrate anymore, not necessary need add/use -ip config

It shows on hlsw because, srcds is running without map loaded.*<-- not sure
You not see it via in game server browser however, there is no game in progress.

It's same thing if you now type
disconnect
to your server console.

And with
map mapname
you start it again.
