Hello Sourcemod Community!

My clan is currently in the process of spinning up a CS:GO server and unfortunately a few of the plugins our community really enjoys using in CS:S do not work. One of the most enjoyed is KnifeFight (http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=94572). From the looks of it, the plugin creator (re-writer?) Has not updated the plugin for over a year (though, they are still active on the forums.) Reading through the thread I have found updated files for CS:GO, but unfortunately all of them cause our server to crash. Along with that, the code has been altered multiple times by different users. I'm worried the altered code is only causing more problems.

I'm personally not familiar enough with Sourcemod coding to fix the issues myself, so I'm looking for someone capable of doing so. I realize this can be time consuming and I'd be happy to pay for the service.

Ideally, most of the functionality carriers over. I would also prefer the plugin to not require music to be enabled to play sounds. All of the reiterations in the thread could only play the sounds if music was audible. For a while, this looked like it was required, but I found a modified version of Quake Sounds that did not require this, so I assume it's possible.

I've attached the most recent files that were known to be working in CS:GO at one time (March.)

Also, if you need a server to test on, I'd be happy to allow access to mine.

Anyways, please let me know if you need more details. I'd be happy to provide them.

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like I've received any interest. Is there a better place to request this type of thing? The reason I requested here, was because I'd like the end result uploaded to the community.

Crashes on my server since the update :/. Strange it works for you though. Maybe it's a conflict on my end with HLStats, Quake sounds, gore mod, RTV Extended,RTM. I'll have to test further I suppose.

Crashes my server also. I even unloaded everything and tried just running it. It works for you on your CS:GO server Root?

Make sure to use latest MM:S and SM (1.5.0)

Using 1.10.0-hg857 for MM:S and 1.5.0-hg3890 for SM on my server :/.

I think using the latest snapshot of SM/MM is what did the trick for this last big update since it would crash upon giving players knives, however, you're welcome to give the plugin I edited a spin - all I did was change the weapon list and the beacon stuff to files that actually exist. No idea on the sound/music stuff - I'm not really a plugin coding guy, haha. Just a web dev :p - hopefully you get it working!
