I have tried using both anonymous accounts and my accounts. Still nothing.

I have tried a trick that seems to work: I have downloaded SteamCMD on my PC for Windows and uploaded it to my VPS. I can use it now with WINE, even though it's messy, but for some reasons, when I start the server, I cannot connect from my Counter-Strike. HLDS seems to be binding "127.12.3.4" (isn't that the local address?). I tried using different kind of ports, from the default one to even ports like 80, 90 and so on. It simply does not connect. Any ideas on that?

i have several problems earlier, try clean reinstall OS you using for example debian this fixed it to me its because steam issues i am only predicting, when i switched to early steampipe beta. Use anonymous or account, both worked fine for me
