go to cstrike folder and find something called: steam_appid

1- Try to delete it and try to enter the server
2- If deleting it failed, then leave it and give us the number written in it.

It should be the valve folder, not cstrike. The file should contain the number 70 or 90


Just to make sure, what game did you select to install previously when HLDSUpdateTool was used?

i said cstrike because there was also a file there.

I used valve but i deleted all files from hldsupdatetool. I noticed appid get auto changed to 70 everytime i start the server. So i changed it to 90 then read only. Didn't work either. I still get steam validation rejected when i try to join.
Also tried to delete the appid in cstrike didn't help.
