Push away!
Simple noobs prevention.
Version: 1.2, Last update: 14.04.2013

INFO:
This plugin allows players to push each other by attacking them with knife/claws. This is very simple and useful because when zombie/human blocks the path you can simply push him away, great, isn't it?

After the version 1.1 you can pull the others by pressing +USE (Default E key) and attack them with claws/knife.

CVARS:
Quote:
zp_pushaway_team - 0 = off, 1 = Zombies only, 2 = Human only, 3 = Team related, 4 = Everyone can pull/push everyone
zp_pushaway_type - Allow pulling/pushing 0 = Push only, 1 = Pull only, 2 = Both
zp_pushaway_power - Pull/Knockback power multiplier (No decimal numbers!)
zp_pushaway_injump - Allow pulling/pushing when in midair 1 = ON, 0 = OFF
zp_pushaway_button - 0 = Both, 1 = Right click only
zp_pushaway_nemesis - Nemesis can be pushed 1 = ON, 0 = OFF
zp_pushaway_survivor - Survivor can be pushed 1 = ON, 0 = OFF

better than the shitty unreal semiclip.

some suggestions:
  • to press a specific key like +use as an example (assigned by cvar) when using the knife. like this no need to disable anything related to knife damage.
  • another cvar (or to press another key) to choose: to push or to pull.
  • and can you please make the same thing for non-zp ?

I've made update with "pull" feature. Version for non-ZP server you can find HERE.

I have no idea how to make this more friendly to others plugins which concerns knife attack. BTW. This won't affect any other "knife plugins" but will add his own effect.

I didn't understand when the plugin should push and not hit a player, that's why I asked you to use a key. my suggestion was something like this: to press E to pull and R to push, and 'nothing' to hit !

ps. the title is hard to find for someone who search by keywords, please use separate words .

It can be abused as sh*t.... if the push is a bit too much then this wud work as a free knife blink ... :\

That's why you have a cvar zp_pushaway_injump to prevent situations like this. And remember to change zp_pushaway_power to lower number like 2 or 3.
