I have server for Dark Messiah and it crashes everyday. Someone is trying to get my rcon password. I see "Add ip .... for 300 minutes" x 300 . This game is running on source engine. I tried many anticrash software(dosprotect,dproto,zBlock) , but it doesnt work. I really dont know what should i do. Do u ave any sugesstions how to stop it??

• fyi, dproto isn't to protect servers, it's to allow non-steam within steam servers.
• disable the rcon password (make it empty) to avoid its problems.
• update your server.
• I could only show you standard solutions, I don't know anything about SRCDS servers.

is this non-steam? can u talk to the host for dos attacks and wha tnot?

Unfortunately, Dark Messiah doesnt support steam ids. I talked with host and he installed zBlock to my ftp. It didnt protect from crashes... Today I tried Rcon Locker, but it cant cope with these ardous crashes.

does banned_ip.cfg have that ip in it? maybe it can't write to it.. if not, add it manually and permanent:
addip 0 xx.xx.xxx.xxx

I tried:
-zBlock
-dproto
-ddos protection
-anti crash plugin
-firewall (server provider side)
-ip block(s.p side)
-rcon locker
-disable rcon pass

and my server crashes everyday. Crasher has dynamic ip, so banned_ip is useless. Its so annoying! I dont wanna pay for the server for next month.

P.S
It happens with every server for dark messiah. This guy has crashed all of them. My server browser doesnt display any server right now.
