I've been away from the source engine for quite some time, and am in need of some direction. I'm having trouble getting env_blood to work on L4D2 & CS:GO (working fine on CSS, TF2, etc), time to consult the source engine code. When opening the Source SDK, I can only get engine code for the 2007 engine.

Where can I find the latest? Specifically, for CS:GO.

There are only three official code sdks. 2006, 2007 (both in Source SDK), and Alien Swarm (in Alien Swarm SDK).

We use reverse engineered versions of the Source SDK header files provided by the MetaMod: Source developers.

There's one for each major game engine.

They're used to compile plugins for MetaMod: Source and extensions for SourceMod.

My understanding is that they're only the header files, so they don't actually contain any of the code that the SDK uses. Which means you can't actually look in them to see what the game is doing.
