Hey guys! I am trying to set up reserve slots for my server, but I am having trouble getting them working.

My settings at the moment are:
sm_reserve_type 0
sm_reserved_slots 2
sm_hide_slots 1

Basically, I have a 34 slot server that I want to show as a 32 slot server, keeping 2 hidden reserve slots. When the server is "full" (showing 32/32) I want reserve slot people to be able to use the console to connect into one of those reserved slots without kicking anyone on the server (so basically being 33/32) and then the next time someone disconnects it'll go back down to 32/32.

However, I am getting a "Server is Full" report when I try and connect via console when the server is at 32/32. How would I go about setting this?

You need launch server with +2 extra slot (-maxplayers 34)
*edit, you already have....

*edit
Type status in console when you are on your server.
Then use rcon or type in server console
sm plugins list
sm cvars plugin_id
(reserved slots ID number)

*edit
Did TF2 only support max. 32 players ??...

TF2 only supports 32 players. There's no way to have 34 slots.

Yes. I guess you can run the server with more than 32 slots, but players can't join slots 33 and above.

Since you can no longer kick SourceTV or replay, I'm not sure which trick you're referring to.

I'd strongly suggest using one of the reserved slot plugins that uses the Connect or CBaseServer extensions, but those don't have standard reserve slots.
