hello,

i have a small question
it is better, in performance and stability, to use one plugin, instead of 2?
meaning, for example instead of using let's say hook_say for both psycho listen and a plugin no swear, whatever the name is

so checking the chat in one plugin and checking it again in another
isn't it better to do it just once? this should improve performance, theoretically at least, but will this hinder stability?

i've switched recently from windows to linux for the server, it proves itself more unstable

Yes. But you'd never feel the difference.

The only time that you should consider combining plugins is when you need the plugins to interact "intimately". Any other reason is bogus .

i was wondering if is better to have fewer and by combining them you'd get it to be more stable and use less memory

thanks for your answers
